Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for subscriptions to Halmist, an app operated by A&D Media und Data GbR, Berlin, Germany. Please read it together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Where you bought your subscription matters
Halmist subscriptions are sold and billed exclusively through the platform you downloaded the app from — the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not process payments or store your payment details ourselves. Because of this, refunds are primarily handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
2. Requesting a refund via the App Store (iOS / macOS)
Apple manages all billing and refunds for purchases made through the App Store. To request a refund:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account.
- Select the Halmist purchase and choose "Request a refund".
- Apple reviews and decides on the refund according to its own guidelines.
3. Requesting a refund via Google Play (Android)
Google manages all billing and refunds for purchases made through Google Play. To request a refund, visit play.google.com/store/account or Google Play's refund page, select the Halmist purchase and follow the instructions.
4. EU / EEA right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or EEA, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital services contract within 14 days. Please note: when you start using the service immediately after purchase and expressly agree to immediate performance, you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may lapse once the service has been fully provided, in accordance with applicable EU consumer law (§ 356 BGB). Where the withdrawal right applies, you can contact us at support@admediadata.de. If your purchase was made through Apple or Google, the withdrawal is exercised through their systems.
5. Auto-renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not, by itself, refund the current billing period — you keep access until it ends. You can cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
6. Free trials
If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. To avoid being billed, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
